As Hays County continues to grow and prosper, Seton Medical Center Hays is growing as well to keep up with the increasing demand for advanced medical care and responsive emergency services. Over the almost five years that Seton Hays has been open, we have experienced record volumes in most areas of the facility. For example, over the past year, we have averaged 2,575 visits to the Emergency Department a month; 241 surgeries per month; and 68 deliveries per month. Seton Hays is a Level IV Trauma Center as well as a designated Primary Stroke Center and earned Chest Pain Center Accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care last fall. This distinction affirms that our clinical staff can provide all levels of care related to a patient with an “active heart attack.”
The advanced care that we are able to provide our patients is helped considerably by our community supporters. Won’t you partner with us to help improve the health and well-being of the residents of Hays County now – and for the foreseeable future?
Special thanks to our generous sponsors!

We are proud to be recognized for awards and achievements, including patient safety and quality improvement. Won’t you help Seton Smithville better the lives of you, your loved ones, friends and neighbors?

Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the poor and the vulnerable. We are called to be a sign of God's unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
