Seton Hays Council

The Seton Hays Council is a group of volunteers who advance healthcare in our community by developing and sponsoring fundraising events, hosting educational opportunities and serving as ambassadors by connecting their friends and associates to Seton Medical Center Hays. This is the inaugural year for the Council and anyone who joins during the 2013 calendar year will be considered a Charter Member and recognized in a permanent way at Seton Medical Center Hays.

The purpose of the Council is to raise funds and awareness through development and sponsorship of the Seton Hays Social, our largest fundraising event benefiting Seton Medical Center Hays. Our vision is for the Council to serve as the “home” for people in our community to give back and make new friendships. Members will have the option to volunteer on a Seton Social planning committee and will also be invited to attend annual social and educational events. Our goal is to strengthen camaraderie, foster pride and ultimately create greater impact on healthcare. If you have any questions about the Seton Hays Council, please contact Michele Gonzalez at (512) 504-5076 or megonzalez@seton.org.

Our Mission

Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the poor and the vulnerable. We are called to be a sign of God's unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
