  2. Two Letters of Recommendation
    • One letter must be from your immediate supervisor at Seton.
    • The other letter may be from a peer, teacher, former employer, community leader, etc. Recommendation letters from family members will not be accepted.
Download the 2017 Searcy Family Health Professions Scholarship letter of recommendation form, and email it to your supervisor as well as one other individual who is not a family member.

Completed application and letters of recommendation must be submitted by Thursday, November, 30th at 3:00pm. We will not consider incomplete applications. No exceptions. It is your responsibility to ensure that your letters of recommendation are submitted via email by the deadline.

You will be notified by Friday, December 15th if you have been selected to receive a scholarship.

If you receive a scholarship, it is your responsibility to work with your school registrar to obtain your transcript or proof of acceptance. Selected applicant must provide proof of acceptance into an accredited healthcare program at an eligible college or university prior to awarding of the scholarship funds.

Scholarship winners may be asked to assist with future fundraising efforts and/or scholarship-related activities throughout the following year, including writing personal thank you notes to selected donors, being quoted and photographed for Seton publications, and speaking at various meetings. Select recipients may also be invited to participate in the following year’s scholarship application review process.
