The Seton Hays Council is a group of Seton Medical Center Hays supporters who advance healthcare in our community by developing and sponsoring fundraising events, hosting educational opportunities and serving as ambassadors by connecting their friends and associates to the facility. Annual dues support capital and equipment at SMCH.
Our vision is for the Council to serve as the “home” for people in our community to give back and make new friendships. Our goal is to strengthen camaraderie, foster pride and ultimately create greater impact on healthcare. Through the Council, members help plan, advocate for and sponsor the Seton Hays Social, our largest fundraising event benefiting Seton Medical Center Hays. Not only do Members have an opportunity to volunteer on a Seton Social planning committee, they are also invited to attend annual social and educational events.
Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the poor and the vulnerable. We are called to be a sign of God's unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
